Here's How it Works!

The Organizing Wizard’s Organizing Webinar is a live interactive computer-based combination of a "workshop" and "coaching" class. Here's how it works:

=> Once you register for your desired Webinar, you will be taken to a thank you page with complete instructions on how to access your chosen class.

=> You sit down at your computer and follow the instructions for entering the “online classroom.”

=> Your first step will be to download a small snippet of code to your computer before the class. This is quick and easy and won't hurt your computer. This code will allow you to hear or talk during the webinar.

=> The day before your class starts, we’ll have a brief “orientation” at 8 PM (EST) where we will meet for 15-20 minutes on the webinar to make sure you can log in, hear, and talk (if you have a microphone attached to your computer). You will receive my 5 W’s of Organizing, a TEASER and a Tickle strategy handout via email. And you will have an opportunity to share your questions and challenges so we can maximize your success during the process.

=> Once in the classroom, you can either type or talk (if you have a microphone attached to your computer). The instructor and other students will read your words, or hear you talking.

=> Class will begin at 9 AM (EST) and will finish at 5 PM (EST). At 9 AM (EST) I’ll provide you with instructions to help you get started on your organizing. At the top of every hour, you can check in at the webinar to brag about what you’ve accomplished, ask questions if you’ve gotten stuck anywhere, gain better direction if you’re confused, and overcome challenges that come up around letting go of an item. Then you go back to de-cluttering until the clock strikes the next hour.

=> If you are on a roll de-cluttering, you don’t even have to worry about missing any questions, comments, challenges or solutions – because I’ll even show you how to record each “top of the hour” session.

=> You must have speakers on your computer to hear the instructor or others.

=> You must have access to the Internet and use Microsoft Internet Explorer as your browser. (AOL users would click on the Blue e that looks like this: Internet Explorer 7on their computer to access Internet Explorer)

=> The class will consist of you and only 3 other students, which guarantees that you’ll get individual attention.

Please note you will NOT be in class from 9-5. You will be working on your organizing project in-between the hours and only checking into class at the top of every hour.
