Embrace the Positive in Your Life

With February coming to a close and today being my husband's
"double nickel" - 55th - birthday I've been reminded of a few of
my favorite things.
As a matter of fact most of the month I have had the song in my
head and actually singing it out loud, "My Favorite Things" as
sung in the musical "The Sound of Music."
In the musical, the lyrics to the song are a litany of things that
Maria loves, such as "raindrops on roses and whiskers on
kittens, bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens." These
are the things she selects to fill her mind with when times get bad
and sad.
I personally fill my mind with this song and other favorite things
when times are good and happy for me, for to me it's a happy
and fun song.
My Top Ten Favorite Things:
=> Watching nature
=> Gardening
=> Singing, dancing, listening to music, playing instruments
=> Creating: collages and playing with clay
=> Reading
=> Spending time with family, friends and like minded people
=> Developing web sites
=> Helping others
=> Being in harmony and balance
=> Laughing!
What are your top ten favorite things you love to do? Make a list
- go ahead - and you don't need to stop at ten - you don't need
to put them in order of importance, I didn't. Just write - just live
in the now - of your favorite things. Feel them, see them, hear
them, do them. Have FUN!
Fill your life with fun, laughter and love and many of your worries
will melt away.
Get your life together on the inside - embrace the positive and
release the negative - and the outside will start to take care of
itself. You'll soon learn what you really want in your life and in
your environment and then you'll begin to take the steps to create
your reality; your life.
Life is a full-time job; you cannot fail unless you quit (c).

Write a letter to yourself of how you see yourself at the end of
March - what accomplishments you have made - and then see
them as if they already have happened.
Set up a temporary file for all tax papers coming to you or
needed for filing your taxes.
Take control and be a part of your healing. Learn and take part
