Q: "Can I make enough money as a Professional Organizer to live
on?
A: Not at first, so it is a good idea to keep your job and do professional organizing on the side until you get established OR have someone to help support you financially (I have my husband; however, he will not pay OverHall bills...he will give me a loan if needed :-) One of the things I found that is starting to be profitable is to offer products and teleclasses, especially if you can develop your own techniques, mine is the "5 W's of Organizing, a TEASER, and a TICKLE" and my little booklets. I feel, like any new business, it takes several years to get established.
Q: Do I have to take a test to become a Professional Organizer?
A: No
Q: Do I have to join an Association?
A: No
